First, welcome to BuellXB! Second, there are so many mods you can do. Most people start off with a K&N, exhaust, and breather mod. Lets see some pics of thhe new ride!

Read, read, read some more, and when the weather gets better, ride it like you stole it.

Oh, and order new tires. Those won't last.

"Picking a Buell over a harley was the performance mod." ;)
Could not have put it better. Like it was said " read read" on mods. I know from experience that playing with map settings has been rewarding and I could' t have done it without the threads. Being a dirt bike nut I knew to get the girl breathing better, but had no clue how to access the EFI. I knew that I wasn't going to get any bennies without adjusting the carb, but the damn thing did't have a carb. The cool thing is " the ECM chip has the ability to make adjustments on it's own" that is if you don' t get over zelous with mods. Understand it is a V twin @ not a high revving inline four jap bike.

It is always better to be looking @ it than looking for it.

Welcome to the Buell family! Yes, one thing we say around here is "pics or it didn't happen" so lets see that bike!

What year is your bike? What kind of deal did you get?

If it doesn't already have them I would recommend installing frame pucks.
