Mine is super tight when I use my key. I know it turns smoothly when the gas cap is out of the frame, I think there's just a lot of friction on the gas cap and my frame when it's twisting. maybe I could sand mine down slightly and it would twist easier, who knows. I'm always super gentle when I turn it, keyless would probably be very convenient.
you should try callimg ebr and see if you can get a group buy on their caps.they sell for 129.00 maybe you can get them for around 100.00.they have 4 colors.
I don't like all of the hardware with the Illmberger version which EBR sells. The opening is very small in comparison to the Grand Stand Designs version.

Question, if I was to get one and per say I came out Come out from a all day event only to climb on my bike to find the cap missing. Will the bike run without the cap just to get home.
Now I know this is a ****ty way to think, but I have heard of it in my city :(>.
