Put the bike in gear and push it back and forth to tell if the chain broke and is bound up against the sprockets. Either way if you heard the chain slapping around in the primary you're ****ed. Call the tow truck!

If you have to pull the Primary cover (Sorry to say) use new shifter seals & if you have a magnet around check for metal and rinse the area inside so no particles get into any moving parts.Hope you caught it in time. Check your Tensioner adjuster make sure it doesn't need replaced . Good luck.

So I pulled it apart and the torx bolt that holds the transmission counter shaft in, freakishly backed out and broke the chain adjuster pad, that let the chain get slack and catch the metal part of the adjuster and snapped the chain in two. I have to replace the adjuster 17.50, the bolt and washer for the countershaft prob 30.00, chain 50.00, and used clutch hub 149.00. so I ordered the parts needed mostly together but im unsure if I want to use the stock XB9 Sprocket and keep the bottom end or if I want to go with the XB12 front and gain top end. any suggestions??????
