    Water logged?
xb12r first time caught in rain.temp 55,steady rain, not heavy rain, bike starts running on 1 cylinder,no trouble lights on dash though.i pull in clutch and rev it,thinking I need to keep it running, then after a min or two, both cyl are running again.did it about 5 times within 3miles.park the bike, next day no problems at all, runs great again.
today, streets were wet,(bike did get rained on 30mins)
bike started and ran great, then after 7miles,running on 1 cyl again.I pull in the clutch and rev it after 20secs both cyls running again, park it for about 2 hours starts and runs good then 1 cyl again for about a min.then both cyls run again.just wet street, and about 60 temp.Fresh plugs, oil and filter before hand.only acts up when wet.basically seems water is an issue somewhere,if anybody has any thoughts please share. Thanks

its a safety precaution, so you don't give it to much power under wet conditions and cause your rear tire to spin and loose traction! :) haha I'm kidding i have no idea....

had the same problem as you last summer, invest in a set of new plugs and wires and you will be good to go.

Be sure to use the dielectric grease on all of the plug wire boots as well, this will help in keeping moisture out of the boots and promote better conductivity between the plugs, coil post, and wires.

  5. No power in the rain? Feels like the bike is missing on a cylinder.
