I like the heal guards, but I really like you paint better. The large metal flakes really give it a custom look.
Any chance of making them offset so they're flush with the brackets like the riders?
I made them exactly like the stock ones so i guess explain what you mean by offset?
As for the paint it came on the bike. I bought it from the dealer and they had it painted for an international show they took it to. I wasn't crazy about it at first but now I love it! I haven't seen anything like it ever.
Here is the new belt guard. Turned out really well I think. Could be made with anything cut into it. This is just a prototype, it will be getting painted.

I like both pieces. Belt guard is great--why paint it? Looks nice the way it is (IMHO).
Also for the first piece, I'd prefer just the Peg on it's own. No letters or other logo's. Sleek & clean.

Also, for what it's worth, I'd be interested in a lower belt-guard, too. I know most folks on the board don't like it/take it off, but I'd be into it. :)
