Thread: Wrong ECU from EBR.....

  1. #1
Okay so I took apart my bike to install the new EBR computer only to find that it doesn't fit. To top it off, there are no contact phone number for EBR. I sent them an e-mail but that can take a while. Does anyone have a direct phone number to them?

What year and model is your bike? What is the product number on the EBR ECM?

Okay, I just got off the phone with them. Mad props to Andrew for that number. They sent me the ECU for an 1125. The part number for the one I ordered is Y0181.10AH and the one shipped was Y0181.10Z. I guess they pulled the wrong one off of the shelf. That always seems to be my luck......lol. They are shipping me the correct one today.

Okay, I was just e-mailed the tracking number form EBR. That is good service. They definitely impressed me. I had one company charge me again to send me the new part and then reimburse me when they received the faulty piece back form me. That is just bad business.

They are pretty much the best folks around over there. I sent my ECM in for them to reflash. I got it back a few days later, and then got an email with a payment request....after they shipped it back!

Yeah, it is unusual to find people and businesses of that nature anymore. It is nice to see that they do indeed still exist. I like to think I do business that way myself.
