I am looking for advice on what tires to run on my uly. I only got about 3500 miles on the factory rear which was a dunlop in ’06 (leftover '06). I do a lot of highway riding, but I still like to do a few twisties on the weekends. What tire would you recommend? I was looking into the metzler roadtec z6 or maybe a pirrelli of some sort. What are your opinions? The bike is almost never off-road so I’m not worried about that at all.

I would run a nice hard tire if I was you and you don't spend a lot of time in the twisties. I would recommend the Dunlop D205 which came stock on my Cyclone. I got 10k miles out of that tire.
