Try searching "northern california" ceramic performance coating with Google, I saw a couple places but not sure exactly what area you are in.

Also what are the benefits of ceramic coating other than the obvious in it being permanent and looking awesome?

Local place quoted me $140 for the header, $70 for the muffler. Another $35 for black which is more heat resistant. I'll be doing it probably next summer. Looks great and reduces heat.

I've heard that too. They say the coating smooths the inside of the pipe, and it helps evacuate heat(doesn't trap it) and this increase power. Not sure how true it is and probably makes a slight(at best) difference IMO.

Hot Air travels faster. Ceramic coating evacuates (dissipates) the heated exhaust gases faster because ceramic doesn't absorb & transfer the heat like uncoated steel or even chrome. This means cooler engine temps which means better performance, especially for our air-cooled engines.

Would love to do it but I am guessing removing the headers is quite a bitch....
