Stock ratings are rated at the flywheel, not at the rear wheel.
I have an 07 Xb12Ss that I recently had some performance work done to, and when I got it back for some reason my hp & torque is less than what stock claims to be. My current readings are 81.05ft lbsmax & 98.37hpmax. I had a Jardine slip-on,K&N filter, and a direct link map done. It runs extremely strong now, but I don't understand why the stock numbers are higher. Is there no truth in advertising, or do I need to get it retuned?

So how do those numbers sound to you?
I saw somewhere...I am trying to find where.... an article where someone dyno'd all the pipes for the buell 9's and 12's. I can seem to find it though. It even had all the sounds with the article. Basically there were only a few made that would perform better then stock.
It seems to be faster, and sure as hell will yank a wheelie easier since the work was done.
But apparently you loose top end.
Its on here
Exhaust Shootout
yeah thats it.
don't worry BlackBuelly07, those numbers are good!
