the gearing inside the big black cover on the left side of the bike is changed, not the final drive (rubber belt)
so i have to changed all the gears in the bike...???
nope, just two gears and possibly the chain underneath that cover. Those parts arent parts of transmission.

This site has an example of it. that chain goes around that small gear then go around the ring gear on the clutch basket at the back. I cant remember where I saw the one for speed increase on a XB12, but I will keep looking.

Check that out. Thats a picture of a XB12 11% reduction kit. I still cant kind the increase kit for the 12. All i can find is the one for the 9's. I know I saw one for the 12's somewhere.
