You'll have to go with a chain conversion kit if you want to change your gearing.

to change the rear sprocket you'll need a different belt and the biggest is the cr's 76 tooth, if you're trying to get more torque look at buying the smaller front sprocket

If you upgraded to the +04 pulleys you could use the 1125 r or cr sprocket. You would need to try a couple different belts. I did this on my blast. I have a cr rear and a tuber front with a 135 belt and an adjustable idler. I need to find a 133 belt because I want to put a 26 tooth front pulley on instead of the stock 27 tooth.

You think if I get the setup for a 12r that I could just swap everything over

yes, but you will have the same gearing as you have now. R or S, same thing. The ss. stt, x, xt are the same pulleys just a longer belt.

Your belt wont fit the newer sprockets. It's a different design.

Yeah I'd get a new belt too. bigger sprocket longer travel longer belt. So I can't take the newer xb12r setup and a new belt and put it on my 9r
