Thanks for your help.
Again yes you can but it wont change your gearing. All the xb have the same final drive ratio.
Thanks for your help.
I just bought a 2003 xb9 firebolt with a broken belt. The belt has 155 teeth. I'm confused. The sprockets are obviously bigger, stock is supposed to be 128 teeth. Can anyone help me out? I read of guys installing sprockets off of xb12's but I don't know what I have here. Belts are hard enough to find, I'd hate to buy the wrong one . Thanks, Rich
rich: the "supposed to be" info you gleened somewhere, is incorrect. below are the correct specs and belt part numbers for the UNIQUE 2003 XBS/L/R models only:
BELT: 155 TOOTH COUNT
F PULLEY: 30 TOOTH COUNT
R PULLEY: 72 TOOTH COUNT
FACTORY CORRECT BELT PART NUMBERS THRU THE YEARS:
G0500.02A----------SUPERSEDED TO GO500.02A8----------SUPERSEDED TO G0500.02A8R
any of the above is correct fitment
the 128 tooth belt you're referencing was introduced in 2004 for the entire XB series which had stock 65T rear sprocket
Very good info ^^^ Who's is this masked man??
