Stang how are you removing it? I've heard that glue is strong or are you not worried about how that second air box looks?
typically you use fishing line with the assistance of a heat source
i'll probably use some welding wire and a heat gun. i plan on taking it to work today and messing with it. i know some sanding and buffing will be involved on the tank cover post removal.

as for the pad, it came off EXTREMELY EASY. lol. idk if i just got a lucky one but literally all i did was grab the tallest part and gently rock it back and forth untill it popped free and then i pretty much just peeled it up while working my other hand under it.
now the glue on the other hand.......yeah......well thats gonna suck a lot of ass lol. i've tried many professional strength adheasive removers from my work and basically all i can do now is wetsand and buff it. hopefully i can stay away from the "buell" emblems but if not **** happens. so, we'll see how that goes lol.
