here is a pic of the clip holding on the fuel line on my 2004 XB12R.
that's a great vid, but it does not cover the type of fitting on my Buell.

there is really only 2 types.ones that takes a tool and ones that dont.
the photo you posted dosnt need a tool and is basicly the same as the one at the 53 sec of the video.
push your line in towards the metal fitting push the red lock tab in and remove.
ok, i'm an idiot. it comes off just as easily as you state. push in, and push the red button. i'm the King of making things like this WAY harder than they should be. thank you all.
This is a two year old post but was hoping to find out what the issues were. My fuel line busted and I have to replace it, and was going to just put in common fuel line, however when I removed the line and went to cut off the fittings I saw the conductive inner liner. I suspect that somehow tells the pump to stop after the initial start up pump.
Thank You Guys! 675MIZU i had the same issue! I didn't wanna break it, so i searched it, Glad its easier than I anticipated! Let the Engine Dropping Continue! 1050cc big bore here i come!
I broke fuel line fitting clip on my 2009 Buell XB 12 Scg.
What is the fuel line connector part number? The lettering on the connector is PA12-GF3G conduct NORMA-RSS 5/16", but Google does not show anything.
How to detach the connector from the fuel line? It seems to me it sits there pretty snug in the fuel hose and the fuel hose is very stiff like plastic. Just pull it harder?
Will the connector with clip on the picture below fit the fuel line on my motorcycle? What is this connector part number?
Will any clip from Autozone fit the Buell fuel line fitting? https://www.autozone.com/fuel-delive...l&newYmme=true

Crap, I found a picture with similar connector and it shows it has o-ring in the fuel tube and it seems to me the tube is hard plastic, probably I will just rip off the tube grooves or the o-ring and will not be able to install new. Can anyone confirm if it is replaceable or not.
It seems to me if I replace the broken clip this 5/16 clips from Autozon might fit
