I rode 4000 miles on a HD, I did nothing but put gas in it. It is a big heavy ride that makes more noise than power.
I've seen a few Victorys here and there, they are definetly different.
I never said it wasn't overpriced. My comment was more to the fact that with every excuse people have to bash a Harley these days, the age old reliability issue, really isn't an issue anymore. To each their own though, if/when I give up on my Buell, I'll go back to another Harley. Personally, I like the looks and love the sound.

if you can ride it with your health concerns go for it .you should also check out the goldwing though its been the standard for cruising and comfort for decades.
Hah my dad just bought one. I havent seen it yet nor talked to him about it. I'll have to check it out when he gets back from his bike trip
victory has been in koohoots with arlen ness for a while hence the long caddy chopper style. i remember when arlen showed his new custom vegas victory back in 09
I saw one of these up here in SK last week; first thing I noticed was the taillights and thought it was a custom job. Bumped into it again at the HDD and took a better look. I like!
Oh and in case you wanted to know how much plastic the bike has here is a bare shot
I saw one today. Defiantly different!
HD has come a long way in reliability. One can now wear white jeans on a Harley:D
The Vic has a lot of features standard that are major extras on HD. HID headlight is standard. Much longer floor boards. Higher back seat, lower front, more cargo capacity. And a bigger base motor 106 vs 96 for the baggers. Also no push rods. :D
The lower price is the icing on the cake.
