I have an 06 Uly 15K miles, no comfort kit. Also have an 07 Uly 10k miles with comfort kit. The 07 throttle response and overall performance is better and smoother than the 06. After resetting the TPS and installing the comfort kit on 06 is there any danger in using ECMspy to copy the 07 mapping to the 06?

I have an 06 Uly. I improved heat and performance by adding +1 to entire Fuel Map and reduced Timeing by -1.

It is very dangerous to retard timing blindly. Great way to grenade the engine. In general, it's best not to touch the timing without a trained professional and a dyno.

@ichy -- Advancing the timeing with too much fuel will cause detonation possibly harming the engine, at least rattleing the valves as in my case. Retarding the timeing depending on fuel quality can help to closer align peak pressure to the magic 14deg atdc. This aids in cooling and perf. Please dont be an internet a-hole. If you think someone is clueless explain your concern otherwise shut your worthless mouth.

    uh. another expert.

    please tell me:
    - how much are changes (in %) if you add +1 to closed loop fuel?
    - how much are changes (in %) if you add +1 to WOT fuel?
    - how much does ego correction change because of these adjustments (in %)?
    - how much does afv change, because of the new ego correction (in %)?
    - how much will WOT fuel change because of the new afv (in %)?
    - is it more or less than +1?
    - is it positive anyway?
    - how does mixture change? lean or rich?
    - what will happen to max BMEP? more or less? sooner or later? why?
    - how does EGT change? why?
    - how does head temperature change? why?
    - and, last but definitely not least: how are you supposed to change spark advance now, at the end of the chain of all changes? advance or retard? why?

ich, lighten up. His changes were trivial and he had a positive result. How, oh how, did our old carbed bikes even get out of the driveway? I've run 100hp engines on points and mechanical advance for christ's sake.

You want to critique others efforts? Look closer to home. I'm still waiting for the phucking email to register ECMSpy and try to make a donation.
