That is gorgeous, excellent work!
Awesome! take it to the dyno or drag to test how strong it is.
That is gorgeous, excellent work!
The front half is buell and the back half is Ducati. The oil tank hasn't been modified, yet. It still holds the stock amount of oil.
This was tested at home coming on the great twisty roads of WI. Zero deflection. It's stronger than the stock Ducati because of the welded upper brace.
Here's a pick of the fixture I made to give you a better idea on how I did it.
Matt
mate... that is fukn awesome!!!! god damn i would want that in heart beat. nice work!
was it a pretty straight forward job, or some hick ups along the way?
Being its a complete one off, I don't think Hick-up is the right word.
Very nice indeed!
I'm just wondering where or what were you doing when you got the idea?
Hey loose, where you at in Wisconsin? I'm in Madison and I'd really like to see your bike in person.
I love single side swimgarms. The only thing I would want different is to keep the belt drive. Otherwise it looks great!
That is sweet!!! Best part of the duc on a buell. You are a mad scientist!
Didn't see any mention of heat treating.....
Also did you ever research if the two different swing arms are made out of the same grade aluminum?
that is effing sweet, matt.
if i wasn't allready impressed with your skillz after seeing your FI blast, this takes the cake!
