canholder is mounted to LSL-crash bars and to low front engine mount. so it's supported from 3 points. extra bars and rods are to eliminate vibration and for strenght... hope this pic clears it out
Jamba, do you have any close ups of how you mounted the jerry cans? Always wondered what one can do to carry extra fuel when fully loaded.

Here's a few modifications I did to mine over the summer ;) shes all fixed up now though! Added more spikes when I put it back together too, used spikes for the handguard bolts.
