Heres a little tip. Give us some information as to why your Buell bit it.Unless you figure out what happened no one can give you help at least in understanding what the trouble is. Its ok to be upset, thats a normal reaction. Better get a hold of the Guiness Book of Records they want to know more about your zx10.

Funny old world really. I have had many Kawasakis and while I did get 85,000km out of my GPZ 750 the cam chain was worn into the chain guide backing plate and it burnt oil like a bitch when I sold it.
My ZX-11 was traded on my ZX-12 at 95,000km but that had blown a piston and needed a full strip and new piston/sleeve at 85,000km.
Mind you I had great times on on all of those and they are fondly remembered.

On the other hand, my piece of **** '06 Ulysses has cost me a fortune in oil filters but now that it has passed 105,000km without any major issues I'm starting to warm to it.

Motorcycles are relatively frail mechanisms and unfortunately stuff happens - how badly did the Buell '**** itself' and what were the circumstances?

There are plenty of knowledgable folk here but you will catch a few more flies if you substitute some of the vinegar for honey.
