As you can see I've been working on a tail swap. I ordered the tail parts for an 09 SCG in designer black. I'm still waiting on an undertail from Harley. They tell me they're on backorder until October.
I'm trying to go keyless and carbon fiber. I installed and M-Lock ignition and will replace the gas cap with a keyless one.
The big screen you see on the gauges is a TomTom VIA. I know it's a bit excessive, but it is fun to ride with.
This winter I plan to tear the bike down and have the frame and swingarm powder-coated black. And, there's a few more plans in the works. But this is where it is now.
Can anyone tell me if those are the long passenger foot brackets?
If you just need the plastic part I have an extrela one I could sell
The plastic cover that goes underneath the tail section is what I'm looking for. Without it the wiring wants to hang down and the battery tray shows. Even though I'm going keyless I think it hold s the seat lock and latches as well. I'll PM you my email address
I was once thinking about doing the CR headlight conversion. The guy that use to own that bike gave me a little writeup and pics of his swap.
Since purchasing the bike, I have reworked the headlight conversion. I didn't like the additional space between the headlight and forks. So, I purchased a 1125CR lower triple tree and drilled mine with new holes to match. Orginally, I'd hoped to use the 1125CR triple trees. But the fork diameters were different.
In the rework all of the peices that were fabricated by the previous owner for the swap are no longer used. If your still planning the swap, you're welcome to the peices.
