+1 on battery. It's the easiest thing to check IMO.
Sounds like it could be the battery. Take it to autozone and have them see if it is good.

Dang, I even have a spare battery too. Forgot it was sitting in the garage. Would have given it to you had I remembered it was there.
Well now I don't know. I ordered ecmspy cable. By left the bike on charge all day while at work and got home last night and it fired right up. I checked to make sure it is at least charging. I took it down the road and back. Still has trouble when you roll on the throttle in low rpm but I let it sit and idle for 20 minutes or so
