The 2001 Kawasaki zx9r had a very similar green.....not Kawasaki solid green, they had almost that exact color that yr....maybe green apple or something but it was metallic and almost identical. Good luck
A couple more projects I'm proud of that I think are neat. 72 scout 2 resto, red 92 sidekick i fixed up for a friend. Painted the wheels, top, front clip, total detail, tune up, all new shocks and struts. And my favorite tracker that I couldn't keep black and red (murda). 2 inch lift, fresh top end, full length header and custom exhaust, new top, painted front clip etc. Etc.
Love that 8274 warn winch on the scout. The paint looks great too.
That scout was really cool. Had period correct off-road bumpers and that awesome winch on it. A couple from Missouri brought it to us too redo. The wife kept it when her father passed away. He bought it new. She remembers them taking it wheeling in Colorado and Utah and all over when she was a kid.

Made my own 3 stage paint color... I call it"can you see me now" added some reflective stickers
That's Awesome!
I can vouch for your painting skills, all the paint on that XB12Ss I got from you is still in great shape. Tons of bug splatter and rocks have hit it over the last riding season or two and it always looks brand new after a good wash.
I'm actually thinking about doing a really cheap paint job on the old 79 Corvette in my garage. The stock paint is pretty cracked and scratched, so I figured I can't make it worse. I was thinking about making one half of my garage a cheap "paint booth" with some plastic tarps, sanding the car down, and then using a cheap harbor freight spray gun and compressor and some decent quality auto paint to paint it a dark matte grey or something similar. Am I crazy or is that pretty doable?
O.k. Buelly, it's time to come clean, the kid did the work, right, you can tell us, you'll feel better !
Nicely done.
3 stage paint? Please explain.
(I only know enough about automotive paint to be dangerous- I'm just an amateur at best).
Looks awesome!
