No matter how much I try even just screwing around in a parking lot, I can't get that front tire any farther. I also just got this bike a month ago and Im still getting used to it. I used the whole tire on my old 600rr.
Not the best pic, but I think I got it all the way over. Tire had 5000 miles on it at this point. New BT-016's just got spooned on last weekend.
I don't even know what that is.

Well looked at mine and running Shinko tires with a 200mm in the rear.
Front is about 3/8" that is my pinky finger
Back is about 3/4" that is my pointer finger
man low... you have some fat ass fingers, and also you might want to put some more air in that front tire...
but hey im running about 5/16 on the front of my pirelli diablo (yes it is half way through the pitchfork)
and i don't know what a chicken strip is in rear
