xtremelow has one
I am thinking about picking it up. But the only thing that concerns me is the fact that it only has 3 mounting points as opposed to the factory 6.
So anyone run it? any problems/ concerns?
thanks

I will be buying one next month. If Erik approves of it I have no concerns on its functionality.
It wasn't a question of doubting Erik, I was more concerned with the wording. It said it was for the chain conversion kit. I couldn't see why that would make a difference but wanted to double check. Either way, I bought em
In case anyone is interested this is what they said:
Hey,
I am thinking about picking up a rear brake rotor (seen here) http://www.erikbuellracing.com/store...ake-rotor.html
I notice it says that it is for the chain conversion, will it also be fine for my bike with the factory belt assembly? are there any issues with having only 3 mounting points as opposed to the factory 6?
Thank you

Hello Jake,
It reduces the unsprung weight about 1.5lbs, and will also reduce the capability of the rear brake a bit.
It’s really intended for racing where the rear brake is rarely used, removing weight from the bike is a priority. It will most certainly fit, and three mount holes are not an issue.
We wouldn’t recommend it for street use though, because as mentioned above it does reduce power of the rear brake.
It was put up on the store as a service part for the chain drive kits we sell.
Thanks,
Michael
So are you going to do it anyway Jake?
Yup, if it really is less I can always throw the old one on
Food for thought. Thx for passing along the info.
