I hate that i cut up my airbox and was wondering if anyone has part numbers ? 09 lightning 12ss. The reason i ask is that my local hd dealer seem to be as dumb as dog**** when it comes to buells! and i have to pay up front when i order it. So i just want to make sure they order the right part as i cant return it if its wrong. Good price though $45! I expected more.
you may want to look at buellsterparts.com or buellparts.net, 45 bucks, hmmm, your HD parts guy may be looking at the wrong part, that seems really low for an airbox cover

If you do get the Airbox for $45, let us know! That's extremely low and would be a great price!Good price though $45! I expected more.
I'm only assuming that the HD guy is trying to sell you the black airbox over that sits under your colored one. Just a thought. New airbox cover (colored ones) range from 100 and up to 400 for carbon fibre. Sorry I couldn't find a number in my service guide. Good luck
