Thread: New XB12R Owner in RI

  1. #1
    Hey Guys,

New to this Forum, but not to V-Twins. Found a 2009 Black/Red XB12R with 50 miles on it. I'll be picking it up this Weds. Always wanted a Buell, and almost purchased when they were last available new.

I've been creeping around this Forum and been reading things here and there on what you guys recommend. So this is the setup I decided to go with:

    EBR ECM
    K&N A/F
Drummer SS (wanted to keep my stock muffler)
    NGK Iridiums (DCPR9EIX)

Hope to see some of you fellas in the New England area next season!

    -Joel

Hey Joel! Welcome to the forum! I hope you'll like it here! Looks like you have a decent mods list going. Not because I sell them but you might want to consider some axle sliders to protect your new baby. Hit me up if you decide to go with some. You can check out my pulley covers as well if you like.

    Enjoy your new bike!

Not saying you will, butI have heard a lot of the guys are having problems with the bike studdering and not idling well with the NGK DCPR9EIX plugs. The fix for that is the DCPR8EIX plugs. Just a little heads up if you do experience problems. And welcome to the family.
