SuperiorMCSupply.com started out as an old school parts resource out of a garage. At first, we focused on cycle parts of extreme vintage during the height of the internet boom. As the Internet became more of a “key player” to shopping and researching, SuperiorMCSupply.com grew out of its garage shop and into a warehouse. At SuperiorMCSupply.com, we specialize in Old School Harleys. We have parts that can be used from the earliest bikes of the 1920’s to the bikes of today.

Great day working on the 2005 XB9SX. Changed the oil and filter, transmission fluid and installed new cover gaskets, adjusted the clutch, cleaned and re-oiled the K&N, cleaned the throttle body, and pulled the spark plugs (just to check to see how they were doing). Only problem was I picked up a nail in my rear tire on my last ride that I just noticed. Tire is now completely flat. Oh well, time for new wheel bearings, idler pulley bearings, and tires (just bought the new Dunlop Q3's). Almost ready for spring!!

Today I completed the XB9 primary gearing swap.

Overall, it was pretty easy with the right tools. Need a BIG torque wrench to hit 250 ft-lb! I borrowed one...

As an added bonus, you get to save 1 pound going to the smaller pulley! LOL

Took it out for a ride with a few friends because of the beautiful weather we've been having.
