with a stock "R" tail it looks bad...as in barf. once you raise the tail you have a big gap between the plastics and frame.
Anyone have any pics of a firebolt with tail lift? Haven't really come across any on this site, or atleast wasn't aware of it when I saw it. I know trojan horse makes them. Any local manufacturers or perhaps someone on this forum that makes them? How do they affect performance, ride, etc.?

Broken tail

yeah that looks pretty bad
Trojan horse makes a fighter style tail section specifically for the bolt...i think it achieves the "lifted" look IMO.
-Anthony Firebolt lifted tail peice
lol, thats my bike, that did look terrible....
I think with some more r&d i could've made it work, but the trojan horse one looks great.
Think the firebolt tail is a bit too long for the lift, but it does put you in a really comfortable riding position. Wish I could remember the size spacers I made
if you lift the firebolt back end I'd get some beaten up tail plastics and do some cutting and fiberglass work to make the lines match up
