That is what I'm trying to recreate but you cannot buy that ANYWHERE
Yes you can. He has the blanket in stock, and is in the process of his next run of stacks. Told me thy would be ready in a few weeks. And filter you buy at autozone. They order out of catalog.

What type of gains are we talking about here from this stack? Elusive products like this are typically expensive. Does the cost justify the gains, or is this just another cool project to try and get going? I'm game :D

The cost does not really justify the gains. I think posted dyno sheets saw a gain of like 3-5 hp.

I'm a 100% beleiver in the fast Intake because:

Blanket keeps warm air engine air out of airbox. This is proven to run better, if not sure, go ride in the cold.

Taller stack allows for more laminar airflow, short stock stack (haha that sounds funny) makes it difficult for air to get "sucked down in there" is the only way I know of how to describe it.

You lose airbox entirely, meaning you remove cover, and that's what you see, the stack surrounded by a k&n.

This should defenitly be done with ecm corrections though since with all the new air you'll be getting you throw in some more fuel, then feel a difference in power (I've been told), still waiting for him to get back to me when the stack is ready then ill be doing it tomine.

Couple weeks really? Are you in contact with him? Whats the price looking at?

As far as cost justifying the gains i agree they don't but if you are going beyond bolt-ons a good intake is a must though I'm sure just a regular open airbox would suit most hi-po builds.

I will measure the I.D. of my intake when I'm back into town. Will not be until............ 9th....

Price has come down substantially when I talked to him a few weeks ago

Said he wanted to make them "more accessible "

Soon as I hear back ill give you a shout. It was his recommendation to buy the filter local, since it will be cheaper, and he gave me the k&n part number.

Blanket he had in stock, making another run of stacks.
