07 Blast Idle Issue

Purchased an 07 Blast for my wife to learn on. Bike starts on auto choke and runs great until it warms up. Once it's warm, bike will not idle without help of feathering the throttle. Has anyone had this issue before?

Check the boot connecting carb to motor. Those things tend to crack a lot.

Concur, also after 15 minutes of being warmed up does that stop being a issue?

Boot between carb and engine bad...will order and let you guys know how it goes, thanks for the advice.

Don't replace it with the stock part. Find Dan's super boot on Ebay and you'll never replace it again! I've had mine on for years. I just have a velocity stack on my carb, only the boot supports it. The superboot is worth every penny.

I concur - just shell out the 50 or so for Dan's boot and you'll never have to worry about it again.
