Hi folks I am getting back on a buell this summer after 4 years in a cage:)
I want opinions on how much the bike was improved on the 09 model vs the 07 (1203cc version for both). I am hours or at most days away from making this decision so gold stars for whoever responds quickly.

I would go for the '09. It has the better oiling system, the longer suspension of the STT, and I believe the ztl2 front brake.
I'm biased, but I'd go for an 09.

Thanks - I am leaning towards the 09 now - the one I have found is a cali bike. I will be importing it to Canada and want to know if removing emission control will add much power and how difficult it is to do.
The 07 is easier to tune.
What makes 07 easier to tune vs 09? Also, I have been checking with dealers in my area who sell used bikes and their retail prices are equal to or less than anything I see on here when they do get the odd buell in. I probably will end up paying too much because I love the bikes but do these bikes honestly go for asking that often?
