Sorry fellas been busy since last Friday (looking at buying a house) when I picked her up from HD. Yes, you read that right, I paid them for the install. It seems like a pretty simple straightforward process looking through the Service Manual, but I decided to let them have at it. Labor charge was $400. Oh well. I'll get it done myself next time I suppose. The Tech was like "You want me to Torque this little nut to 300lbs? Wow, is that what EBR said?" I kindly handed him their direct Technical number in Troy.
Anyway, bike is running fine as usual no problems to note at this time. Voltage is still above 14.1-14.4 so no change there. Put about 300 miles in the 3 days running it everywhere I could.
@Rogue4 There is about 3 pages worth of info in this Thread for install. I read over there that someone put the bike in 6th gear I think and that help lock the engine/tranny. He claims that it worked fine. Take it for what its worth,
A bunch of pics of the old. For you eagle eyes out there you will notice there is no oil jet located in the inner portion of the rotor housing. The EBR stator does have this. There are quite a few assumptions and facts running around about this addition. Its purported to be a 2010 Stator/Rotor assembly that EBR modifies for the 1190RS. Its highly likely that they are buying 1125 motors from ROTAX and modifying the stator/rotors for the 1190RS.Hence the direction from EBR to use 2010 1125R/CR Service Manual
