I have a 03 xb9 and i lifted up the rear end the other day and noticed i have a little play in the rear shock bushings. I took the shock out to see what was going on and noticed that nothing really looks worn out so i put it back in thinking that maybe it was just a little loose and tightened it up and it is still loose. The actual rubber bushing is not loose at all, but the shock mounts dont pinch on the metal sleeve enough to lock it in so the sleeve moves on the bolt. has anyone ever had this problem? I dont want to just go out and buy a new shock that could do the same thing.
