I didn't wanna say it, but I still call bull**** on this guy. There's no gears in the primary to have broken teeth or need replacing. Then if he'd already taken apart the fork and found the bad parts, why not replace the parts for ~$50 instead of the forks? How did he diagnose a "bad" spring? Did it not spring anymore? I also call BS on a fractured rear shock spring from a wreck, there would've been NOTICEABLE damage elsewhere before the shock spring broke. If he had the tools to rebuild the primary, then he would be VERY familiar with high-compression springs and the rear-shock would be a walk in the park.
I think this thread is a fake and won't waste my time troubleshooting fantasy issues. That and some of my first troubleshooting questions are still unanswered.
