Quick question, did you check the gap on the plugs? When I bought my dcpr9eix the gap was way off. Some say they havnt had to and others say they did. Just wondering if you did. Thanks
I just changed my plugs yesterday to the NGK 9's and pulled them today to see how my mods were doing on the A/F ratio. I not to good at this and would like a second opinion. I have the muffler mod(from member urban assault) and a K&N filter. The bike has been lightly tuned before I got it with ECMSpy. I will have the cable next week but want to know if this is safe to be riding on. Don't want to be too lean. Front plug is on the left. I've driven about 50 miles since I've put them in.

Yep, the gap was .030 so i put it to .038. I was mostly wondering about the all white insulator. There is no color to it, but i did only go 50 miles.
Why the 9's?
9's are recommended for air cooled buellsWhy the 9's?
That is the proper Heat Range for Xb Engines. The Stock plugs are ok if you can't find a NGK- DCPR9EIX.The Insulator is not really going to change in color all that much as long as it is Tuned properly and the Boot is covering the insulator properly. That is a large gap for that Engine. The Tip is easy to damage on NGKs.Ride Safe.*Jimi
