Dean, looks great.. & hell for stout! what an industrious fella' you are.. how much did the materials end-up running?
I needed a lift, didn't want to send more hard earned $$ overseas.

About $400, the aluminum diamond plate was $145 I think. There's a guy that sells plans online for $30 that calls out everything you'd need, I did it based on what I knew it required without plans. Drew it up on paper for a rough bill of materials, went and got it and started building. It's way overkill for what I really need. The main thing is, it's 8 feet long. Way too much now that I built it. I guess the guy is more harley oriented for the stretched out choppers or something. 7 feet would still be pretty long for a Buell. I may sell this one when I get done with the next project since there's some HD guys with the long forks, etc around me.
Supposedly rated to 1000 lbs. I bounced on it last night just to see how much it moves. Even just on the jack without support legs, it wasn't much.
Where did you order the race exhaust from?
I build those and several other styles as well.

Load tested the lift at 700+ lbs tonight. Had the whole family out there bouncing on it, so I'm guessing it's probably good for 1000 lbs or more.
How does it lift up and down?
Just a standard floor jack. I'm using a craftsman 3 ton jack.
Interesting.
