Nice stuff, had a question though. Are the bolts that are pivot points hardened or rated for shear? It seems to me that their is the weak link in a dseign such as this. I don't have space right now but I will when I build my next garage. Again nice stuff.

No, they're not, just standard bolts. It will take quite a while for them to wear through. This isn't a production use lift, it's just a temp one. If I sell it and build another one, it will have 2.5" ball bearings like what you'd find on a Handy lift. Slightly different design where it's a scissor lift instead of just the pivot as it is now.
Any guesses where this might be headed?
