The Mrs just bought a 2007 Blast with 642 miles on it. It came with a NIB Jardine muffler and K&N air filter. I replaced the filter and rode it around to test. When I opened the box back up, I noticed the end of the filter has three divots rubbed in it from the air box fins that are supposed to hold the filter in place. The rubber dust that was created from the rubbing was coating the inside of the box. I cleaned it up and threw a few squares of duct tape over the box fins to prevent further rubbing. Has anyone else experienced this? Without tearing off the box and going with a stack filter, is there a fix for my problem?

    Thanks.

My air box has been off for years, so I can't help you.
