Thread: ASB air box delete problem

    I just recently installed ASB airbox delete.Has any one had the problem of the front of it leaveing a small gap between filter and plate? How did you solve the problem ? Thanks

    Open the throttle up! Should suck the plate right back down ontop of the filter lol. I did a DIY delete and think I had a TINY gap, never worried about it.

    I hear ya,its just those dumb lights and speed limits get in the way!

    I did my own delete. I had the same problem. I found some thin but ridged aluminum plate, drilled some holes, and put a piece of small vaccum hose under the front closest to the gap. The hose is like 1/8th I.d. about and inch long. Then tightened it down and it solved the problem.
