Looking for 2nd and 5th main and countershaft gears (looking for matching mates) for an 05 xb12.

an entire transmission gear assembly will also work.

    thanks

I have two transmission sets. Do you still need any parts?

this cat "squidbuellie" came from the depths with offerings.

    think im good for now.
    but thanks...

good community, and seems like there are a lot of good folks to help in a pinch.
    so far im fairly impressed.

looking for the following parts (would like to purchase new if possible):
    piston rings
    shift forks (see pic above)
    engine gasket set
misc bearings for the lower end (dont really want to split the case again anytime soon)

looked at american sport bike website and didnt see much, do i need to call and talk to someone?

    any other sources?

    thanks

If anyone is interested, I bought this with “clutch issues”. After I got it home, I adjusted the primary chain tension and clutch cable hoping that it would be an easy fix. Initially it would shift between 2 gears (not sure which 2) and then get jammed. While in gear and on stands, it made a metallic clanging noise at idle (noise sounded deep inside the case). Removed the motor, primary cover, tranny and engine sprockets, along with the shift level assemble and the shift drum would still not turn. So off came the heads, cylinders and apart came the case. The shift fork was fubar and the quest for parts began….

Ill post more pics of broken bits and pieces when I get a chance. Part of the shift fork “welded” to the second gear main shaft sprocket. I tried to pry it off with a screw driver but its on there pretty good.
