I just bought this bike a few weeks ago and I love it. Theres two things im not sure about though.. 1) its not as torqy as i thought it would be. I can roll on the throttle in any gear and not have to worry about the front wheel coming up... is that normal? and 2)It does backfire a lot when i let off the throttle. Any ideas or opinions?

Ok, I had the jardine and it does loose a little bit of low end due to to open style of that muffler, but not big deal if you tune for it. And people make the buell out to be a torque monster, i for one do not think its as crazy as people think and i have had and ridden them for 5 years.

There is enough power to get the wheel up. But it won't happen by rolling on the throttle. You need to get your weight back and don't roll it on but actually goose the throttle. I'm no expert in wheelies but I prefer using the clutch to get the front up.

1st gear it should wheelie no problem just rolling on. With the jardine u will loose low end but it still should. Mine would. Is your ecm stock? If it is get a race map or ebr ecm it will help

With the exhaust and intake you need a race map to have it run properly. If you look at the numbers these bikes do make a lot of torque, and at low rpm. That doesn't necessarily mean it will wheelie constantly without thinking about it though. My bike has never wheelied by accident(or on purpose), but it has a ton of torque. I'm sure with little effort I(and you) could get the tire up.
