    I have had the same problem and $1200 later spent at the dealers trying to get it fixed they found nothing. I finally took it an ex harley mechanic who works out of his garage and he looked at it for me. Tightened up my wires and ever since then the bike stopped doing it 90% less... It still does it every once and a while so it's not completely fixed. Wish I. Knew exactly what it was.

    Just to finish off this thread.....it was the Cam angle sensor. located on the right side underneith the "Buell" cover.
