Thread: Rev Limit

  1. #1
Does the blast have a rev limit (other than valve float)? What RPM is it set to? I am asking so I can know if I need to put a tach on my wife's new bike or not.

Shows shift points. There is a rev limiter. Shouldn't need a tach if you just watch your speedometer.

Those shift points are all near the limiter. 6500 rpms I believe?

There is a rev limiter at 6500rpm. Pulls well right up to it and then it falls on its' face. Almost got me 'Suburban'ed'. I'm told the ignition module can be replaced with an un-rev-limited module which allows the valves to get eaten unless a lot of valve train upgrades are made. A tach would help a lot... my next search.
