Ive read through the new forum and I cannot find the answer to this problem.

A few weeks ago my entire instrument cluster stopped working, the whole thing powered down and has not come back on. No biggie really I can drive without it. Not long after I noticed the tail light is not working. The break light works as do the blinkers.
    Could the 2 be related?
So i have replaced the tail light and checked all the fused. Also determined there is no power coming down the "orange" wire at the connector to the speedometer.

Is there something else I can check or do I need to dissect the entire wiring harness to chase it down?

Have you checked all your fuses?

edit: re-read and saw you had checked them.
I'd check the circuit breaker. and also pull the ground and re-seat it.
You might have a wire burned through and grounding out where it shouldn't.

There are 3 Pos. leeds off the pos. side of battery 1 large wire for starter and 2 smaller wires all three wires are crimped to terminal connector check the 2 smaller ones. One of mine was fractured and i had electrical gremlins all over my bike.
