Thread: drain gas

    no clue what i'm doing. buell owner, my son-in-law in Afgan, need to store his Firebolt xb9r. how do I drain gas?

    4 is the drain plug be careful with the swing arm

    Use some aluminum foil to cover everything around the drain plug area that may get gas on it and just put an oil pan under it and use a large mouth funnel to keep the gas from just draing all over.

    along with making a path for the gas with aluminum foil just loosen the drain plug, let the gas "dribble" out.. makes a lot less mess and spillage..
