i was riding home from my friends and get on the road after warming it up, the thing just starts cutting out when i give it gas so i down shift doesnt do any good and then the bike just dies while on the road. So im in the BIKE Lane, try starting it boom its alive again i make it about 20 feet and then i have the same problem and the bike dies. now it wont start and it if does start it only runs for about 30 seconds before dieing and if you give it any gas the bike dies. I think it might be the Stator but i am just unsure has anyone else had this problem? or know of a diagnostic chart that i can follow?
I had a problem with my xb9s that had similar symptoms as your having. Mine turned out to be the fuel pump. Don't know if that will help you or give you a start on narrowing down what it could be. My pump would sound when then start and run about 30 to 45 seconds really rough then it would die.
sounds good, do you know of a flow chart.....my bikes at my buddies. this **** happened to me at 3am this morning so i havent even had time to pull codes yet >.> i only had to push it a mile so i didnt have to pay for a tow on a sunday good thing i had my wheaties.
