Thread: push rod gaskets 17649-02

    push rod gaskets 17649-02 are they sold in packs of 2 and will this part fit on both push rod tubes on my buell xb12s 04 thx

    sold in packs of 1. they fit front and rear cylinder

    Re-read the post, your looking for pushrod gaskets, not valve gaskets... my bad... post deleted

    he is talking about the rubber gasket at the bottom of the plastic pushrod covers that are held on with 4 socket head cap screws each.

    the seals inside the valve spring are valve seals

    But you do need 1 each 17649-02 (Gasket, push rod cover rear), and one 17608-00Y (gasket, pushrod cover front)

    Mr Konarider,
    Did I screw up? Mine are different on my 05. Just put my heads together Sunday, that's how I knew there may be different PN's...? Looking at my old ones, they appear to be mirror images

    no i think i did. i went out and looked at mine in the garage and they are stacked on top of one another. one must have been upside down. i didnt look at them that close bec i thought i remembered them being the same before even looking.

    hi iam thinking the 17649-02 is the right ones for buell xb12s the 17608-00y part # is a older part # saying it fits both the xb and blast and it is a flat style
