I made new grounds when it happened with mine.
So I pull up to the house tonight and notice the headlights are out, then as I turn the bars, they wink on...then off again. Ok, wtf. I do a wiggle test behind the buckets and they do the same thing, on then off. Ooo! I'm getting close! Just need to find out which wire it is. Turns out ALL 4 headlight and siggy grounds are broken at the ring terminals behind the headlight bucket.
Wondering if this has happened to anyone else and besides crimping new terminals on, if anyone has any ideas to prevent breaking again. I was thinking some heatshrink right up to the terms as a strain-relief.

very simple, just putting in a new wire and attaching it to the original wire then grounding the new side to the modules or frame somewhere.
When I did mine I didn't want to did through the harness so I just clipped wires and made new ones.
it's basic electrical stuff if it's just a ground issue. If it's the hot wires you might want to look into the harness for issues.
Agreed. There wasn't any evidence of corrosion, looks like the wires were stressed from repeated back-and-forth movementIf it's the hot wires you might want to look into the harness for issues
Update: All fixed. Pulled the headlight bucket, ground screw is right there on the front frame. Crimp on some new ring terms & back together for another 20k miles. I only wish everything was this easy ;)
