Thread: Plug on throttle body.

  1. #1
Was starting to get at the intake seals on my Ulyie. Was about to start getting the throttle body off, where would that plug be located to seal off a port on it. Found a nipple on the side around front cylinder however there was no plug to be found. Could this provide the same symptoms off a intake leak. I did spray carb cleaner around rear jug and it did surge, but was thinking that maybe some of the cleaner got sucked into the TB...any thoughts and location of that plug.

It's for emissions or something like that, they are prone to pop off. Most people just buy some vacume caps from an auto parts store and put it on and secure it with a zip tie.

That little plastic cap keeps coming off ... just like the original did, that zip tie idea is a good one.

I put a dab of JB weld on mine and it fixed the problem.
