Oil line?
Yesterday evening everythig was ok, but today i found this:
any ideas what's that?
I'll bet that rear jardine bracket punched a hole in the oil line.
I'll bet that rear jardine bracket punched a hole in the oil line.Possible. Cause i cuoldn't even find any damage on an engine, and the oil line near rear bracket looked a little raged or shaggy, don't know how to explain. But no good - 100% :)I'll bet that rear jardine bracket punched a hole in the oil line.
Something else you might want to look at: It looks like you have the early style side stand pin that is prone to failure. I would consider changing that.
I could not help but notice two things that could cause some grief soon. Besides the sidestand pivot pin, you might want to check the bolts that hold the bracket to the case. I could be wrong, but they look loose.
The result: hole in oil line. Anybody know partnumber?
Give us year and model and I will check my catalog for a part number.
